Meet Our Surgeons

  • Founder/Surgeon

Dr. Tran is an experienced otolaryngology/head and neck surgeon and has been serving the people of Hawaii since 1999. Dr. Tran graduated from the University of California, Davis majoring in Biochemistry. She received the Health Professional Scholarship from the military and attended George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She received her general otolaryngology (ENT) training at the Water Reed Army Medical Center and completed additional pediatric otolaryngology fellowship training at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC in 1999. She moved to Hawai’i with her husband and children to help train ENT residents at the Tripler Army Medical Center. In response to the lack of pediatric ENT care in the community, she started offering pediatric consultations in the community in 2001.

After finishing her military obligation at Tripler Army Medical Center she founded the independent practice, Pacific Coast Medical Inc in 2003. Since being in private practice, she has introduced surgical treatments that were previously unavailable in Hawai’i including airway reconstruction and cochlear implants.

She is an expert in providing both medical and surgical treatment for airway, nasal sinus, head and neck, and ear disorders. Her fellowship training experience allows her to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Moreover, her practice philosophy emphasizes holistic care over the management of individual symptoms/complaints. She also incorporates the concerns of patients and their family members when developing comprehensive solutions and treatment plans.

When she’s not at work, you can find her golfing, traveling, and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
